G1 Peter Burgess of Cheshire

This line from Cheshire has a known break in it with the founder of the line born to an Elizabeth Burgess in 1753. Therefore, the genetic signature is not expected to match the Burgess signatures of Cheshire which is a major hotspot for the surname. Only one BigY test was done and it appears to be rare so not surprisingly it is really old at around 2,800 years. There are 20 downstream branches with 36 BigY participants that do not match in a genealogical timeframe.
