He died at Reading in 1902, having had five sons, three by his first wife, and two by his third:

He is listed in the 1871 census for St. Mary, Reading, Berkshire Co., in 1881 at Monks Risborough, Buckshire Co., in 1891 at Chelmsford, Essex Co., and in 1901 at Wellingborough, Northamptonshire Co., England. He was a Baptist minister. He died there after 1901, having had at least four sons:
