I1-I4 Barnstable

Two members of the Barnstable line have tested BigY, one from the line of Thomas Jr. and the other from his brother John Sr. both having lived in the 1600s. and are confirmed for SNP R-FGC54227 which is estimated to have arisen around 1550 CE. This is consistent with the known genealogy but does not shed any light on how the other ancestral families from Ontario, New Brunswick and New York families connect. The SNP block is rather large with 17 equivalents and has lots of potential for separating lines.
