Note:  The 1800 census for Georgia was lost, but in 1998 Alice Jeffery published her Georgia Tax Index: 1789-1799, which used the surviving 1800 Georgia tax lists to generate a master record of the heads of household then living in the State. No other information was provided except the name of the individual and the county. The list of counties covered is not comprehensive.
